Literally translating to ‘You and Me’ in the lore of love, a Toi et Moi ring incorporates two main gemstones into its design, almost always placing them side by side to symbolise the union and love of two people.
There is a deep sense of romance that comes with a Toi et Moi ring, with the stones symbolising the intertwining relationship of two people. This is definitely the story which FAITH JEWELS own interpretation of this style of ring tells.
The FAITH JEWELS Hannah Toi et Moi Ring was commissioned by a Singapore-based client, to celebrate the bond between a mother and daughter and the jewel was conceived as a family heirloom to pass down from generation to generation.
The spectacular jewel is truly a modern interpretation of a classic style and bears the hallmark traits of FAITH JEWELS design elements. Juxtaposing shapes, unique colour combinations, linear silhouettes, well thought out embellishment yet displaying a leitmotiv design train of femininity and lightness of character.
The ring showcases a mesmerising large cushion-cut vivid-hued natural Tanzanite embellished by a halo of diamonds representing the ‘Moi’ whilst the opposing ‘Toi’ features a proportionately smaller trapezoid shaped river-white diamond also set within a halo of diamonds.
The tall white gold setting is further embellished in a frosting of pave-set diamonds that harmonises the design creating a cohesive and visually impactful jewel that is sure to be noticed when proudly worn by its owner.
The original commission has now inspired a series of FJ Toi et Moi Rings and will remain a signature FAITH JEWELS design offering with our most recent incarnation featuring a sea-foam teal blue Australian sapphire.
